The Death Zone

Spent about six hours in the Death Zone today, aka - 11,300 feet.  At that altitude the body begins to eat itself to survive.  OK so I was about 15,000 lower than the real Death Zone, but you get the point.  Visiting friends that live essentially at tree line outside of Breck.  I was forced to discuss soccer, forced to drink a beer, and forced to climb up and down their driveway...which is long....and steep.... and at 11,300ft.  Fried eggs (2), hash browns and toast in the AM, too many snack foods in the afternoon and sloppy Joe for dinner - with a beer.  Woke up to work out in the AM, but instead I apparently realigned my nightgown and crawled back into bed...shameful, nothing more can be said.

Haven't had a soda in too many day, but our daughter finished her book and she doesn't have another one up here, so tomorrow I should be in the clear for one.
