BBQ Festival

The title alone should instill fear in this post, but I actually did OK...at the festival.  I'm still at 9300 ft. so i figure I'm burning more calories than normal just staying alive up here.  I did get up at 6:00 and went for an awesome 94 min. run.  Jogged on a paved trail that followed a stream, went through parts of a golf course, around a small lake and by homes I'll never even be able to afford to stay at for a night.  Weather was great - in the 60's - and I got back to the condo and everyone was still in bed asleep.

Had 2 1/2 pieces of French Toast for breakfast.  The challenge came at the Frisco BBQ festival.  Knowing that we were meeting some friends later in the day in Breckenridge (most likely to eat bad food and have some drinks) I approached the festival with caution.  Is there a better smell then four city blocks packed with venders selling their very best BBQ?  Fortunately since it was such an awesome day that tons of people were out, which equaled long lines, which equaled me not standing in them, which equaled me not getting any food.  All I had was 2 dixie cup samples (brisket and pulled pork) and half of a sausage on a stick...oh yeh, and a Lite beer.  Later in the day we met our friends and then badness happened - 2 more beers, and I split 1/2 a rack of ribs and a plate of nachos with my wife.  I don't feel like I ate tons of it and if it helps any, that was also my dinner.  I also walked a ton today.  I did have a small bowl of ice cream while we watched Cars at bedtime.
