Just got off the phone with CS. He's alive, Mrs. CS is alive, and so too are the little CSes. Glad to hear they weren't caught up in the cartel wars, swept out by a tsunami, run over by a cruise ship or eaten by a giant squid.
So I took that hard-earned lesson from last weekend and promptly ignored my advice, and waited until late in the day when the wind was up before jumping on the bike. Thankfully not quite as windy as last week, so a little slower going upriver, little faster coming back downriver. In any case, had to go for the ride just to get out of the house. Somehow managed to get myself involved in not one but two fantasy baseball leagues this year, and both leagues had their drafts today. So not only am I an idiot about the bike riding in the wind, but also a loser just in general!
(And though apropos of nothing but speaking of baseball and geekdom, check out this photo I ran across. Can't decide if I'm amused or ashamed that this is happening at the home of my favorite team.)
