Getting slower by the day

Well, didn't make it out for any of the three training runs this week, so you can imagine how well the 8 today went (the evidence in a moment). It's a cruel irony that going through some very unhappy personal shite can just suck the desire to workout right out of you when working out is probably the one tried and true (not to mention healthy) way to deal with unhappy personal shite. In any case, got back with the program and ran the long run today. All 8 of those miles, and may I say, at about my slowest pace yet. I'm so proud. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got out there and did it at least.

regular schlotzky's sandwich

large root beer
